2010 - 2011 Year Training in
Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Our 2010-2011 Training Cohort will begin on14thSeptember 2010 and run until July 2011. The Training will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm at Share.
The following criteria for enrolment on the 1 year course is:
- Those who are already qualified and need therapy hours as they work towards accreditation.
- Those who are on an externally accredited training course and need a placement.
- Those who have 'life experience' in working with people therapeutically.
You may not have had, or be having, training in a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic setting, but the 1 Year course we offer will cover this modality.
Share Psychotherapy offers a good psychotherapeutic community in which to meet other therapists. We hope you will enjoy being a member of our organisation.
The course is led by a member of the Share Psychotherapy staff team. Psychodynamic concepts such as developmental theory, transference and counter transference, symbolismand defence mechanisms will be studied.
You will receive weekly group supervision and regular psychotherapeutic training days to support you.
There is a small charge for the training, which is currently £100 for the year. This can be paid in full at the beginning of your training or in 4 quarterly invoiced payments. This charge does not cover the full cost of training, so we expect that, following the completion of your training course, you will carry on with the clients you have until therapy reaches its natural conclusion. We then hope you will continue to volunteer at Share.
